4th in PAX, 8th in raw time. But I had a 68.194 that I grazed a cone, without which I would have taken top pax and top 5 raw time
Regardless, being within a second of a good driver in an SS 1LE and among good company at the top with a stock (except wheels and tires) 4 cylinder mustang feels good

I am probably going to end up running some Auto-X with the Mini. Mostly because I don’t have the skidplate to run rallycross at the moment.

I plan on sticking to FS, but there’s talk of the Ecoboost moving to DS.
Technically my wheels aren’t 100% legal: my car doesn’t have the performance pack but I’m running performance pack wheels. Diameter is fine, but the width is not the same so I should be in STU, but locally neither I nor anyone else is that picky. It’s still not as ‘prepared’ as the performance pack cars. Eventually I'll do the allowed rear sway bar (reduce understeer) and couple it with some good Koni yellows, but I don't want to sink the money or effort into an STU build

I ran yesterday as well, winning my class in STX. That said, I didn’t run well and only won because the rest of my class in this club tends to be pretty lame, unfortunately. In PAX I was wayyyyyy down the line, about mid-pack of over 100 drivers. I need better tires.

Tires make a huge difference. I'm partly learning the car still, but I'm on 200tw now instead of 260 and I'm 2 or more seconds faster

Yeah, I’m running 340tw Continental DW, hah. I was very slippy all day. Best time was 51.6 +1 and my buddy on 200tw in similarly-equipped car (though he runs SM, not sure why) ran a 51.0. If I hadn’t clipped that cone, I’d have been right on his ass on these tires. I need some RE71Rs.
